Here at Flying Colours HR, we strive to do what we can to support our HM Forces community.
What does this mean?
- We support serving and former military personnel from the Royal Navy (including Royal Marines), Army and Royal Air Force (including reservists and cadets) and their close family members with the transition to civilian life through employability guidance.
- We also provide HR consultancy support to military charities and organisations who support the Armed Forces Covenant.
OUR HISTORY
With experience providing employability advice to veterans across the tri-services for almost 10 years, Flying Colours HR is keen to help ease the transition from military life to “civvy street”. We appreciate it can be a challenge finding the right job after leaving military culture, and we are here to support you in achieving that sense of belonging again in the right company for you.
In addition, Jenny also has had experience out with Flying Colours HR working with the RFEA (Regular Forces Employment Association) and Walking with the Wounded supporting veterans into employment; excellent organisations who genuinely care about the people they support.
Flying Colours HR has also provided HR operational support (including recruitment and interviewing, contracts of employment, training on HR processes, performance management) and an HR audit review with a business owned by an injured Army veteran in England in addition, to provide employability services to military and ex-military.
Jenny has also worked at the Army Assessment Centre at Glencorse Barracks as a civilian interviewer, and it gave a little insight into Army culture. In addition, Jenny was lucky enough to get experience of an overnight exercise in the Belize jungle with military wives and families and where British Army jungle training is carried out, which she thoroughly enjoyed and staying in Belize gave a little insight into the overseas living experience of service families.

ARMED FORCES COVENANT
